Join Queen City Golf Club for a full day of Ryder Cup-style competition at Harry L. Jones Sr. Golf Course on Saturday, September 12!
We’ll play 18 holes in the morning, take a one-hour lunch break, and return to the course for another 18 holes in the afternoon. The field is limited to just 20 golfers.

Pairings, teams, and the tournament format will be announced before the event

October 2nd @ 6:15 pm
Join Queen City Golf Club on October 2nd at First Tee in Pineville for an evening of golf, food, drinks, live music, and friendly competition at our Adult Driver, Wedge, and Putter Challenge.
Participant registration will take place from 6:15 to 6:45 PM. The competition will begin promptly at 7:00 PM, with the first groups starting at the drive and chip stations. Please arrive on time so we can check everyone in and keep the event running on schedule.
The competition is limited to 100 total participants, who will put their skills to the test across three challenges: driver, wedge, and putting.
The field will be broken up into a men’s and women’s category.
Prizes for each category:
1st place - $500
2nd place - $250
3rd place - $150
Even if you are not competing, you are invited to join us (no payment required). The event grounds will be open to the public, so bring a lawn chair and come enjoy the evening. Resident Culture Brewing will be serving beer from its beer truck, King of Fire Pizza will be serving food, and several golf-related vendors will be selling merchandise throughout the event. We will also have live music performing during the evening.
Come compete for the title or simply grab a beer, enjoy some food, shop local golf brands, and cheer on the competitors.

6:15 PM: Participant registration opens
6:45 PM: Registration closes and competitors report to their starting stations
7:00 PM: Competition begins promptly
9:00 - 9:30 PM: Anticipated conclusion and awards
