Why we exist

A golf club without the country club.

Charlotte has plenty of golfers. What it was missing was a simple way for them to find one another.

Queen City Golf Club brings local golfers together through weekly tee times, tournaments, scrambles, clinics, trips and the occasional beer after the round.

No private-club posture. No need to arrive with a foursome. Just good people who would rather be playing golf.

Our story

It started with one tee time.

In 2023, a few Charlotte golfers got together for a round. One game became another. Friends invited friends. Before long, a group chat had turned into a real community.

Today, QCGC connects hundreds of golfers across the Charlotte area. Some are chasing single digits. Some are trying to break 100. Most of us are somewhere in between.

The common thread is simple: we like golf, we like meeting good people and we believe the game should be easier to join.

Different handicaps. Different backgrounds. One shared obsession.

A place to meet local golfers, build a regular crew and remain part of the group long after the eighteenth green.

QCGC is independently built and operated in Charlotte. We work with local courses, instructors, breweries and small businesses to make the city’s golf community stronger.

This is not a national membership platform pretending to be local. It is Charlotte golfers building the club we wanted to join.
