Join Queen City Golf Club for a full day of Ryder Cup-style competition at Harry L. Jones Sr. Golf Course on Saturday, September 12!
We’ll play 18 holes in the morning, take a one-hour lunch break, and return to the course for another 18 holes in the afternoon. The field is limited to just 20 golfers.

Morning tee times: 8:06–8:42 AM
Afternoon tee times: 2:06–2:42 PM
Lunch break around 1:00 PM
Lunch and beverages are not included
Pairings, teams, and the tournament format will be announced before the event

Queen City Golf Club is bringing Charlotte golfers together for a different kind of golf competition — no 18-hole round, no worrying about your handicap, and no hiding a bad part of your game.
Just three skills:
DRIVER. WEDGE. PUTTER.
Step up under the lights and put your game to the test against golfers from across Charlotte in the QCGC Adult Driver, Wedge & Putter Challenge.
Competitors will rotate through all three challenges, earn points based on their performance, and battle for the top overall score in separate Men’s and Women’s divisions.
CASH PRIZES — IN EACH DIVISION
🥇 1st Place — $500
🥈 2nd Place — $250
🥉 3rd Place — $150
That means $1,800 in total prize money will be awarded between the Men’s and Women’s fields.
And you absolutely do not need to be a scratch golfer to enter.
If you can hit a driver, throw a wedge at a flag, and roll a putt, you can compete.
The question is simple:
Can you put all three together when it counts?
Competition is limited to 100 total golfers.

We’re turning First Tee Pineville into a Friday-night golf event.
Even if you aren’t competing, come out and spend the evening with QCGC.

Spectators are FREE and do not need to purchase a competition entry.
Bring some friends, grab a beer and pizza, check out the vendors, and watch Charlotte golfers battle it out.
EVENT SCHEDULE
6:15 PM — Competitor check-in opens
6:45 PM — Check-in closes and competitors report to starting stations
7:00 PM — Competition begins
9:00–9:30 PM — Expected conclusion and awards
Please arrive during the 6:15–6:45 PM check-in window. The competition will begin promptly at 7:00 PM.
